We watch as Ahmad Hassoun, owner of Signature Auto Body, and his assistant turn a 1990 Holden Commodore in a "jet fighter." They use spray paint to customise the vehicle as per the client's ideas and specifications.

Signature Auto Body are a South Sydney-based smash repairs and customisation company who have become known for their painting, air brushing and custom work. They have a workshop on site that is equipped with:

  • an auto-liner measuring system
  • a full spray booth
  • du-point and du-beer paint systems
  • another paint room due to Ahmad's passion and interest in spray painting, they have become known for their painting, air brushing and custom work.
Ahmad has been passionate about cars for as long as he can remember. He did an apprenticeship in automotive spray-painting to begin his career, eventually buying Signature Auto body six years ago. The company was originally known mostly for its insurance, panel beating and smash repairs work, but has now drawn a loyal following of customisation enthusiasts due to Ahmad's passion for spray painting and air brushing. He believes there are many opportunities for young people in this industry and loves every day of his job.
